We humans, through all our senses, constantly experience weather. No matter what, it’s always there.
It’s strange how something massively experienced, an ordinary topic, is contemplated as informal discourse.
Small talk. And how do we speak of something that is always there no matter what?
With short sentences, short pauses, and simple adjectives.

The paintings in this show are all worked over the 8x8 inch surfaces of lightweight aluminum sheets.
Traces of sandpaper and fingerprints are visible in areas where the bare aluminum stand untreated.
Through scrutinous looking one might notice the impressions of the brushes' touch on the oil surfaces.
Giving the viewer the possibility of an empathetic experience to the movements of the arm that made them.

All thirteen paintings are individually titled Future Weather.
